YEREVAN. - Gevorg Yeghiazaryan, Armenian soldier injured by the Azerbaijani Defense Forces, will leave for Germany at the end of June to undergo treatment, Naira Galstyan, the soldier’s mother, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
According to her, arrangements have been made with a German clinic, and currently documents are being prepared. The soldier’s mother expressed hope that the German Embassy will not raise difficulties in issuing visas.
Gevorg Yeghiazaryan was injured on December 27, 2011. He has a spine injury.
To help the soldier, an account was opened in UNIBANK. $43 thousand were collected in the form of donations. The lacking 7 thousand were transferred by the government members.
