YEREVAN. – The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) stands ready to continue active cooperation with Armenia.

Chairman of the EDB Management Board, Dmitry Pankin, stated the above-said at his talk Friday with Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Abrahamyan, for his part, underscored the deepening and expanding of Armenia-EDB collaboration.

The PM also highly praised the activities in Armenia by the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC EFSD).

The Premier also highlighted Friday’s envisioned signing of the US$40-million investment loan agreements for the Irrigation System Modernization project.

Pankin, in turn, attached importance to the deepening of cooperation aimed at the development of economy, and considered the respective collaboration effective and successful.

In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed the avenues for the further development of Armenian government-EDB cooperation.
