Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Galust Sahakyan today attended the border military posts and defense positions in the northeastern direction of Armenia’s Tavush province.

The main goal of his visit was to familiarize on the ground with the readiness of the military posts and reliability of the positions, the Armenian parliament press-service reports. “The border guards are those who lay the path to the peace. I have been visiting the military posts for many years and am proud of our servicemen.  I hope the next generation will serve in the Armed Forces in the conditions of complete peace,” Galust Sahakyan said.

In an easy conversation with the Parliament Speaker, the servicemen noted they are vigilant and always ready to strike a response blow against the adversary.  

Sahakyan congratulated all the servicemen on New Year and Christmas, wishing them strength of spirit and peaceful service.
