YEREVAN. – Tenth meeting of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Technico-Military Cooperation is in progress in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, addressed welcoming words to the discussants.

He noted that the activities of this commission help increase the defensibility of the two countries, and strengthen regional security and stability.

Ohanyan stressed that both Armenia and Russia are located in a single space of security and economy.

Among other matters, the participants in the meeting will also confer on the supply of Russian weaponry and fighter aircrafts to Armenia, border control measures, and modernization and upgrading of tanks and technico-engineering equipment.
