Hundreds of Karabakh residents today bid farewell to 12-year-old Vaghinak Grigoryan, who fell victim to the Azerbaijani aggression on Saturday.

The participants of the funeral ceremony are shocked and outraged by the tragedy, special correspondent of Armenian News – NEWS.am in Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

“Vaghinak’s death proves that Azerbaijan has one goal: to exterminate the Nagorno-Karabakh population at any cost. We have one way out - to defend our homeland from terrorists,” one of the ceremony participants said.

Many servicemen taking part in Vaghinak’s funeral headed to the frontline after the ceremony.  

Vaghinak’s father is a serviceman. The family lived in Zoravan village. The 12-year-old boy died as a result of a shelling from Grad launch vehicle on April 2. Two other children were wounded.
