The session of the Commission on Constitutional Reforms by the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President took place on Wednesday.

Summing up the results of the work carried out earlier, the Speaker for the NKR National Assembly, Ashot Ghoulian, stressed that the preparation of constitutional amendments has entered its final stage.  

Exchange of views on a number of contentious provisions took place. The Commission will continue the discussions in the coming days. It is planned to publish the draft constitutional amendments in the first days of November.

The draft should be presented to the President by November 20. This should be preceded by public debates.
