The Chernihiv Art Museum on Tuesday hosted the exhibition entitled “Armenian heritage of Ukraine,” dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Armenian book-printing in Ukraine, Analitikaua reports.

The exposition, created through the efforts of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine (UAU) in Nikolaevskaya Oblast, presents interesting facts on the centuries-old history of Ukraine Armenians.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Chief Specialist of Culture, Tourism, Nationality and Religion Department, Anna Doroshenko, director of G. Galagan Chernihiv Art Museum, Irina Ralchenko, members of the Armenian community, as well as representatives of other national communities, clergy and city residents.

The UAU Executive Director Davit Mkrtchyan read out the message of UAU Chairman Vilen Shatvoryan to those present, while the head of the Historic and Cultural Committee, Davit Davtyan, made detailed presentation about the exhibition.

The exhibition will run till December 6.
