The official ceremony of licensing the master's programs 'Agrarian management' by an expert group of the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) of Germany took place in the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University Monday.

The program will be carried out in a number of foreign institutes, including the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU).

The official ceremony was attended by the representatives of Bavarian Ministry for Education and Science and the Arts, university presidents and Mayor of Triesdorf, as well as foreign diplomats and ambassadors, the press-service of the Armenian MFA informed Armenian News—NEWS.am.

Armenian Ambassador to Germany Ashot Smbatsyan made a welcome speech. In his words, the cooperation between the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University and ANAU, which has initiated since 1999, already yields positive results. The cornerstones of this effective cooperation were laid by ANAU graduate Aram Aristakesyan, who currently works at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University. The Ambassador also expressed hope that in the future the scope of this cooperation will expand further.
