Armenia is going to ratify two CIS anti-terrorist agreements. The agreements are submitted to the Armenian parliament by the deputy head of Armenia’s National Security Service Arzuman Harutyunyan. Both agreements were signed in Ashgabat on December 5, 2012. 

The first agreement is “On providing technical and material support for the competent agencies, responsible for the fight against terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism." It has been ratified by Russia, Belarus, and Tajikistan. 

The second agreement is "On conducting trainings of anti-terrorist units in educational establishments." This agreement by so far has been ratifies by Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Russia.
