OSCE cannot solve conflicts but can reduce risks, German Foreign Minister said during a press conference on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier said OSCE can reduce risks, prevent escalation and of course can try to contribute to de-escalation. He added it is important to talk to people be it in Yerevan, Baku, Chisinau or Kiev.
“I visited all these capitals,” he said.
As to Karabakh conflict, OSCE contributed and helped to control the conflict. He explained that the key task is rebuilding trust, and this is a continuing process.
