STEPANAKERT. - The Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) summed up the work carried out in the southern and northern directions of the frontline in the year 2016.

The Aril events, as well as significant part of provocations of the adversary before and after them took place in those directions, the NKR Defense Army press-service reports.  

Nevertheless, according to the reports on the work carried out in those directions, the Defense Army subdivisions managed to not only draw back the adversary but also implement all the actions provided for by the action plan, carry out engineering work, improve the system of management and observations and household conditions of the personal staff, as well as carry out different trainings.

By the end of the consultation, a ceremony of awarding the servicemen and subunits, which demonstrated the best preparation results, took place.
