Russia is ready to transform its dialogue with the U.S. toward a more constructive course by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated at an opening ceremony for political consultations among members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Lavrov noted that Russian president Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Russia was ready to do its part of the work to transform dialogue with Washington toward a constructive one, primarily in order to find effective responses to the challenges of terrorism.
