Russia may sell not more than 10 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 to Armenia within coming five years, Russian’s Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said.

He said the delivery of aircraft will be in 2018-early 2019 in the best case, adding that 2019 is more realistic. The company will start with two-three aircrafts, he added.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a modern jet with 8 to 108 passenger seats. On 21 April 2011, the Superjet 100 undertook its first commercial passenger flight, on the Armavia route from Yerevan to Moscow.

The final assembly of the Superjet 100 is done by Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association.
