Warsaw Regional Court sentenced Stanislav S. to 4 years in prison for spying in Russia’s interests, announces Polish Radio. The defendant does not admit his guilt. His defense attorney Grzegorz Kukharsku petitioned for his acquittal. According to him, there were "serious frauds in terms of evidences."

Stanislav S. is accused of participating in the activities of Russian military intelligence against Poland. The trial began in 2016.

Stanislav has a dual Russian and Poland citizenship. He and the Polish army Lieutenant Colonel Zbigniew were arrested in October 2014. In 2016 Warsaw Military District Court sentenced Zbigniew to 6 years in prison for spying for Russia.
