Poland might refuse to sign final declaration of EU summit in Rome, in case it does not involve the decrees, which are primary for Poland. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydlo.

According to Szydlo, it refers to clause 4 which is included into Warsaw Declaration adopted by Visegrad Group. It is about strengthening the European Union, in close cooperation with the NATO, enhancing the role of the national parliaments and preserving the basis of free markets, informs the Polish radio.

As Szydlo said, she consulted with the President Andrzej Duda and the Law and Justice party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski about Poland's provisions before the EU summit in Rome

The informal EU summit on marking the 60th anniversary of signing of the Treaty of Rome will take place on March 25 in Rome.
