YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Thursday visited Grand Candy LLC. He toured the workshop of the company and got familiarized with the technological capacities and manufacturing conditions thereof.

The company representatives presented the main indexes and upcoming programs to the PM.  It was also noted that in 2016 the proceeds from sales amounted to 23 billion AMD, 1430 tons of sweets having been exported. Apart from this, $9 million investment was made last year. The company currently has 3000 employees, their number growing with the launch of seasonal work. The average monthly salary at the company constitutes 160,000 AMD. The work of the company is fully carried out by modern technologies and equipment. Moreover, a modern system of quality control is installed.  

Furthermore, the PM was told that this year Grand Candy plans to have 100 percent export growth. It also intends to establish a new company, which will operate at the supranational level.

Karapetyan underscored the continuous development of such large enterprises and the consistent growth of production and export, wishing success to the company in implementing its further programs.
