Signing the Rome Declaration is the beginning of changes in the European Union, stated the Prime Minister of Poland Beata Shildon.

"This is the beginning of changes in the European Union. The most important thing for Poland in that the EU member states confirmed their readiness to build our common future, " she said. Shildon also added, that then it was the time to develop good projects, thanks to which everyone would have a united Europe.

The declaration signed by the leaders of 27 EU member states indicates, that the EU is "undivided and indivisible" and the leaders of the member states shall work together, seeking to move in one direction, as they did in the past. "The EU needs unity and freedom of choice," the document reads.
