YEREVAN. – After the introduction of the vehicle insurance system in Armenia, police have divided staged and fake car accidents in the country into three groups.

The first group is the cases when two crashed vehicles which, however, had not collided at all, are brought next to each other and staged as if they had crashed into one another.

As per Traffic Police senior inspector Tigran Poghosyan, the second group is the road accidents that actually occurred, but were not registered for some reason. After several days, however, these vehicles are brought to the same site, so as to register the accident.

And the third group is the accidents that are planned and designed from the very beginning, and a real car crash is created.
