U.S. will send about 200 additional troops at the request of a top U.S. military in Baghdad, Fox News reported.

According to the TV channel, two additional companies of the 82nd Airborne Division will be deployed to either Iraq or Syria. It is not known exactly where the troops will be deployed.

The channel noted that the decision will be taken by Army Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, the top commander of the U.S.-led coalition fighting against ISIS.

It is expected that the Pentagon will report more details about sending 200 soldiers on Monday.
