At least 26 people were after a passenger plane caught fire on landing at an airport near the town of Jauja in central Peru, Daily Mail reported.

As it was noted, all the injured people, including a child, were hospitalized.

“It landed and then the fire was produced once the plane was on the ground but the exact cause of fire will be explained once the investigation has been completed,” a spokesman for the Peruvian Airlines, Alberto Lopez said.
