The meeting of the Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place, when it works best for them, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, reports RIA Novosti.

Trump and Putin had a telephone conversation after the US elections. "They had a nice conversation and discussed the key issues of international relations. They agreed to continue their contacts, "Lavrov said in an interview with The National Interest.

According to Lavrov, that Putin and Trump had one more telephone conversation, after Trump had assumed the office. "They also agreed, that Mr. Tillerson and I in detail will discuss the points on the agenda and the preparation of the meeting, which will take place when it will work best for the leaders of the two countries," he said.
