An Armenian governmental delegation, led by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, is in Kazan, Russia, on a working visit, to attend the meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of Government Council. 

The closed and extended talks of the CIS Heads of Government Council were conducted on Friday, during which the participants discussed the avenues for further development and deepening of economic cooperation within this organization. 

Subsequently, the CIS heads of governments signed several documents and international agreements, with respect to making collaboration between the member countries grow deeper. 

Also, the Armenian delegation attended the official reception by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
