YEREVAN. – I would not overestimate the OSCE Minsk Group’s targeted statement on Azerbaijan’s actions.

“This targeting happens in turns.  (…). Today, Baku is not so interested in weakening of the [Karabakh] conflict, and I’m not entirely sure that Yerevan is really interested in it.”

Political scientist Vadim Dubnov told the aforesaid to 168 Zham (Hour) newspaper of Armenia, commenting on the fact that the Minsk Group’s recent statement targeting Azerbaijan  played no restraining role for Baku.

And reflecting on Russia’s arms supply to Armenia and Azerbaijan, Dubnov noted: “The supply of any type of weapons to Armenia is agreed and coordinated with the arms supplies to Azerbaijan. Moscow will continue arming both sides.

“I don’t see [any] politics in this, but I believe that this is just business. But this business is criminal in itself, since this is very ambiguous and dramatic in a conflict zone where military actions are happening, and in a place where Moscow is a mediator.”
