YEREVAN. – The 15th regular meeting of the Committee of Heads of Law Enforcement Units of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries was convened Thursday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

The event brought together representatives from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and CIS Anti-Terrorism Center.

The discussants summed up the course of implementation of the decisions that were reached in the previous meeting and the work that has been carried out, and outlined the future courses of action. 

Also, representatives of the customs services of the CIS countries got familiarized with the customs service of Armenia. 

Underscoring the importance of making their cooperation grow deeper, the discussants stressed that the joint solutions that were achieved will contribute to the improving of the effectiveness of the fight against customs offenses.
