The second round of parliamentary elections is underway Sunday in France.

According to surveys, President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (La République En Marche (La REM)) party is considered the favorite in this voting, reported the Deutsche Welle (DW) TV and radio company of Germany.

Observers, however, predict another low voter turnout, as this was 48.71 percent in the first round on June 11.
