There has been an ill-fated accident Sunday, in Yeghvard town of Kotayk Province in Armenia. 

Yeghvard resident Sargis, 36, died as a result of being run over.  

According to preliminary information, the young man fell under a combine harvester and lost his life.

The driver of the combine came across an obstacle while driving on a street. He got off the machine without turning off its engine, and attempted to remove the obstacle. The combine, however, move forward and ran over Sargis.

Even though the combine driver rushed him to hospital, the young man could not be saved.

Police told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the driver turned himself in to law enforcement.

An investigation is underway into this incident.
