YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani side is yet again attempting to turn the situation upside down and seek the “culpability” of Armenians, military analyst Arkadi Grigoryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He noted this commenting on the discovery of an RPG-7 (a portable, reusable, unguided, shoulder-launched, anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher) grenade on the Azerbaijan-Iran border.
“It’s not at all something new that Azerbaijanis ‘see’ Armenians everywhere,” he said. “In this case, it’s noteworthy that the circumstance of the ammunition appearing in the mentioned zone is revealed and a conclusion is made about Armenians’ participation, without examination.
“It is noted in the [respective] text that the grenade was fastened to a tree trunk. So, first, the bad work of the Azerbaijani border service; second, not wanting to investigate the incident is apparent here.
“Along with the fake photos, one can conclude about the provocation of the Azerbaijani side.”
