YEREVAN. – Tough policy of Azerbaijan has become a problem for the international community, political analyst Ruben Mehrabyan told reporters on Wednesday.
“Armenia must pursue a strict policy concerning Russia's supply of arms to Azerbaijan. The Armenian side is silent, while the country should use language of ultimatums against Russia. Armenia must learn to say ‘no’ to Russia,” the expert noted.
Commenting on a remark that another OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing country - France – is also selling weapons to Azerbaijan, he noted that France officially pledged not to sell arms to the conflicting parties until the conflict is resolved.
“Secondly, France is not a strategic ally of Armenia. Let's not forget that 90% of the arms supplied to Azerbaijan comes from Russia,” added Ruben Mehrabyan.
