YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani side should simply respect the agreements, reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg, for progress in negotiations on Karabakh, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Кocharyan told reporters in the parliament on Thursday.

According to him, these agreements refer to the expansion of the powers of the OSCE observation mission and the establishment of investigation mechanism for incidents at the line of contact.

Asked whether it is possible to bring Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the negotiation table, Кocharyan noted: “The matter is that the Azerbaijani side should fulfill the commitments it undertook last year. Baku refuses to do it. It is difficult to think about progress in negotiations amid constant provocations,” the Deputy Foreign Minister said.
