Turkey’s assistance in fighting wildfire that has been raging through northern Israel, becomes a start of improvement of tense relations between the two states.

Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu met with a high ranking-Israeli official in Geneva, Spokesman for Turkish Foreign Ministry Selcuk Unal stated in an interview with Anadolu agency.

According to Haaretz daily, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tries to resolve the diplomatic crisis with Turkey after Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent two firefighting aircrafts to help Israel to fight a huge brushfire. In response, Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to Erdogan.
