U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Saturday, Russian foreign office said on Facebook.

They discussed situation over Syrian crisis, including the tasks of fight against terrorism on the ground, implementation of the decisions adopted during the Astana meeting as well as preparation for the next round of the Geneva meeting.
