The residents of Gavar town in Armenia have welcomed the dawn on Wednesday under white snow flakes.

In their words, the snowfall had started at night and continued until the morning.

Even though people in Gavar are used to the fact that they get snow earlier than in other regions of Armenia, they were not expecting it this early.

A local resident told Armenian News-NEWS.am that snowfall continues at present, too.

Snow thickness in Gavar is currently between 1 to 3 centimeters.
