There is no ground for the involvement of EU in the conflict between Madrid and regional government of Catalonia, president of European Council Donald Tusk said.
Tusk said he is concerned over the situation and is in permanent contact with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, DW reported.
All have our own emotions, opinions and assessments but formally speaking there is no space for EU intervention, he added.
