A suicide attacker blew himself up outside a political gathering in Kabul and killed at least 14 people, reported AFP.
The terrorist tried to get into the building, during the political meeting of the supporters of Atta Mohammad Noor, the governor of the northern province of Balkh. The terrorist was stopped at the security checkpoint where he detonated his device.
As a result of suicide attack eight police and six civilians were killed, an 18 others were wounded. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
