The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Russia has released the video of the test launch of a modernized missile of its missile defense system, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia. 

The launch was conducted in Kazakhstan, and by the Russian antimissile and missile defense forces.

The missile successfully hit the conditional target.

This particular missile defense system defends Moscow against airstrikes.
