YEREVAN.- Domestic violence bill is an issue which should be handled by the Armenian society, especially women as all this is for them, head of the EU delegation in Armenia Piotr Switalski told reporters on Monday.
"We, as diplomats, closely monitor developments of situation around this issue," Switalski said, adding that he is not going to participate in the discussions, although he is waiting with his fingers crossed.
As Armenian News - NEWS.am reported earlier, an emergency meeting of parliament of Armenia will be convened on December 12 at 10:00, during which the issues over domestic violence bill.
