A magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit Iran early on Friday morning, Armenian emergency situations ministry said.
The epicenter was located 56 kilometers far from the city of Kerman. The quake measured 7-8 magnitude in the hypocenter. The earthquake was not felt on the territory of Armenia.
