YEREVAN. – Armenian Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies has prepared the draft government decision, according to which the import of right-hand drive vehicles will be temporarily banned.
The draft is posted on a website for the publication of draft legal acts e-draft.am. ”Based on the 7th annex of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014 and road safety, the Government decides to temporarily ban the import of right-hand drive vehicles to Armenia from April 1, 2018,” the document says.
According to the draft, the right-hand drive car imported into the country before April 1, 2018 can be used, but with restrictions during the re-registration.
