Tigran Balayan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Armenia’s embassy in Damascus is trying to ascertain accurate data with respect to reports that the house of an Armenian was bombed in Afrin.

In his words, there is preliminary information that a bomb had fallen on the house of an Armenian, during current the military actions in Afrin.

Balayan said the embassy is working together also with representatives of the local Armenian community to find out the accuracy of this report.

“We will inform more, once we get more information,” he added.
