Russian business ombudsman Boris Titov has informed that President Vladimir Putin was given the list of the businessmen wishing to return to Russia, and who currently have gone into hiding from the Russian justice system, in Great Britain, according to Kommersant newspaper of Russia.

Titov, the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights, is now on a visit to the United Kingdom (UK). Even though he has not publicized the names of those businessmen that are on this list, he noted that their number is about several dozen, but the list is not final because more entrepreneurs continue to apply.

Centers have been opened in six foreign countries, including the UK, for accepting such petitions.

The British authorities recently stated that rich foreigners suspected of corruption will need to explain their “luxurious lifestyle” in the country.
