YEREVAN. – The man charged with the murder of the Armenian psychic has been sentenced to 20 years in jail.
Mushegh Mkhitaryan could not hide tears when listening to the verdict on Monday.
The body of psychic Ani Majnunyan, popular from the “Sixth Sense” TV program, was discovered with many stabs in one of flats in Yerevan’s Ajapnyak district in August 2015. Mushegh Mkitaryan was charged with the murder. The authorities said Mkhitaryan committed a crime for stealing jewelry and mobile phone of the victim.
