US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo once again accused Iran of "supporting terrorism around the world." Pompeo made such a statement in connection with Germany’s decision to extradite Iranian diplomat Assadollah Assadi to Belgium, who is suspected of organizing a terrorist act.

"We support our European allies in exposing and countering the threat that Iranian-backed terrorism poses around the world.   The United States will continue working with our partners and allies to confront the threat posed by the Iranian regime," he noted.
