At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the Government of Armenia has approved the program of getting a $50mn budgetary support loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Accordingly, Armenia and the ADB plan to sign the loan agreement on Public Efficiency and Financial Markets Program, Subprogram 2.
The respective program explanation notes that the said amount will be used for the funding of the deficit specified by Armenia’s Law on the 2018 State Budget.
The total value of this program is $90 million, and it aims to expand the financial markets of Armenia.
