BEIRUT. – Lebanese Armenian Harout Houssigian, 27, has died as a result of an unfortunate accident in Lebanon.
The incident occurred Thursday in primarily Armenian-populated Bourj Hammoud town, reported Aztag Armenian daily of capital city Beirut.
The young man fell down from the window of the 9th floor of a building during a raging storm, and died on the spot.
Also, and as a result of flooding, the Armenian districts and church of Anjar town were inundated with water.
Numerous people have suffered from heavy rains in Lebanon.
