UK Prime Minister Theresa May approved the black list of six Russian oligarchs compiled by UK intelligence, The Telegraph reported.
According to the source, the document will be distributed to the UK government, as well as the country's allies in Europe and North America in order to prevent the free movement of its defendants and the preservation of their business empires.
A high-ranking source in the British government noted that it was expected to limit the ability of those on the list to move and work freely in the UK, Europe.
The oligarchs are believed to have very close professional and financial ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to a source, Roman Abramovich was on the list, since he is believed to be providing the most significant financial support to Putin.
The list also included Igor Sechin, Alisher Usmanov, Arkady and Boris Rotenberg, Oleg Deripaska.
