YEREVAN. – The early parliamentary elections in Armenia were held in a peaceful and secure environment and in accordance with the international standards, the head of the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) delegation Zlatko Vujovic told reporters on Monday.

According to him, this is a source of hope, especially when it concerns the formation of a political system in terms of holding fair elections.

The violations mainly emerged due to lack of information, he said adding that according to preliminary conclusions, the elections were held successfully.

“We hope that the Armenian National Assembly will work on Electoral Code reforms. Unless it is reformed, then next elections might be at risk,” the head of delegation concluded.
