Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has issued a message of condolence to French President Emmanuel Macron, in connection with the tragedy that occurred in Strasbourg, and which claimed several lives.

“I extend deep and sincere condolences to you, the people of France and families of the fallen, wishing fortitude and patience,” the message reads, in particular. “At this difficult moment, Armenia and the Armenian people stand with friendly France.”

Three people were killed and thirteen others—injured, after a gunman had started firing shots Tuesday evening nearby a Christmas fair at Place Kléber, the central square of Strasbourg, France.
