YEREVAN.- This is a logical, normal judicial act, which should have been carried out long ago, the lawyer of the retired General Manvel Grigoryan, Arsen Mkrtchyan told journalists, adding that he is subjective and he likes this decision.

According to him, the defense team submitted another petition,this time the court upheld the petition. Mkrtchyan informed that this time, besides health problems, other circumstances were also included in the petition. He also noted that  a statement will be published in connection with the decision of the court in a few days.

Manvel Grigoryan is charged for illegal possession of firearms and grand theft.

He was remanded in custody on June 16, and then was stripped of immunity by the Parliament on June 19.
