ISIS has seized Rann in northeast Nigeria, AFP reported.
According to the source, during an ISIS attack government forces fled the city along with local residents.
"The terrorists took over a military position in Rann following heavy fighting," source noted.
ISIS militants already launched a series of attacks last month. However, the Nigerian authorities managed to free him with a counter-offensive.
