French Defense Minister Florence Parly and his German counterpart Ursula von der Leyen signed the first-ever contract – a Joint Concept Study (JCS) – to Dassault Aviation and Airbus for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme, Defence Blog reported.
The study will begin within the framework of Future Combat Air System (FCAS).
It will reportedly replace the current generation of Eurofighter and Rafale fighter aircraft by around 2035-2040.
